MARCH 13, 2025
EASTERN DISTRICT WOMAN'S AUXILIARY REPORT:
I bring greetings to you from the members of the Eastern District Woman's Auxiliary Convention, women who prayerfully and financially support all our Denominational Ministries.
This past year, we have supported our Denominational work in the amount of $6,455.00. Our main purpose is to serve our church and community by sharing the Gospel and the love of God in all we do. We are thankful for all the support and hard work of our Women in the Eastern District.
We also want to thank all our Ministries for their support in helping our District: receive up to date information about our Denominational work. The Eastern District will be hosting our State Auxiliary Convention on May 8, 2025, at Sandy Plain OFWB Church.
Our District Officers are working together to encourage and support our women, as they work in their local auxiliaries and serve their Church and Community, standing by our watchword which states I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Phillipians 4:13). Which motivates us to do our primary task, which is to share the gospel and love of God with others.
On June 2-5, 2025, we plan to have our Retreat at Camp Vandemere. Our speaker will be Mrs. Linda Herring, and our theme will be, "Once Upon a Time" based on Isaiah 60:2r. We look forward to having a wonderful week as we share God's love with one another.
Our Spring Convention will be on Saturday March 15, 2025, hosted by Daly's Chapel FWB Church, Seven Springs, N.C. We extend a special invitation to all our Denominational
Ministries to attend our Convention's and share their work with us.
We are still having our Woman's Day Retreats with our theme being "Renewal through
Joy." Our Retreat this year will be on Saturday September 20, 2025, hosted by Bethlehem
FWB Church, 2106 NC 111S., Chinquapin, N.C.28521
To conclude, due to hard work and encouragement, our women are hosting successful conventions for which we are thankful.
Respectfully Submitted: Eastern District Woman's Auxiliary Convention

Statistics for Active/Inactive Members.
Our churches report membership in different ways, making the stats submitted less than accurate. This is a very sensitive area. The Executive Committee cannot direct how churches record their membership. This is determined at the local church level.
Continuing Education
The conference voted to establish continuing education for the ministers. Are pastors required to attend if they choose to receive approved CE from another source? If not required, attendance would drop significantly.
Articles of Faith Revision (Deacons – Elders)
If a church wishes to have elders, there is not a conflict with the Articles of Faith. There is no issue with the Constitution and Bylaws or the Articles of Faith if a church chooses to appoint Elders as spiritual leaders at the church.

FWB Church Covenant
Don Fader reported that the Revision Committee has trifurcated the revision process into the three separate documents as they truly are: Articles of Faith, Church Covenant, and Principles of Church Government.
The recommendation of the Revision Committee is that we consider requesting the Revision Committee remand the revision of the Church Covenant back to each Conference to allow each conference the latitude to draft their Church Covenant as they are led, providing there is no conflict with the Constitution and Bylaws and the Articles of Faith.
Motion made and seconded to recommend that the Revision Committee remand the Church Covenant back into the hands of each Conference to revise the wording of the Church Covenant as they are led, in accordance with Conferences Constitution and Bylaws and the Articles of Faith. Motion carried.
