General Statement of Job:
This part-time position requires the candidate to serve as the chief administrator of the school in developing and implementing policies, programs, curriculum activities, and budgets in a manner that promotes the educational plan for each student.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the chief administrator as described above.
Conceptualize the broad goals of the school and plans in collaboration with the Board accordingly to ensure that procedures and schedules are implemented to carry out the school program.
Ensure the school program is compatible with the legal, financial, and organizational structure of the Eastern Conference.
Define the responsibilities and accountability of students for program completion.
Ensure instructional objectives for an established course of study are provided and completed with fidelity.
Evaluate student progress in the instructional program by means that include the maintaining up-to-date student records.
Supervise and appraise the performance of the student including and providing mentor support for encouragement and completion of the program of study.
Maintain communication with the Board and seek assistance for improvement.
Oversee and supervise the proper maintenance of student enrollment, student plan of study, and all records.
Maintain good relationships with students, mentors, churches, and the Board.
Comply with established lines of authority.
Interpret the school program for individuals and churches and maintain communication with these entities.
Manage and maintain records on the materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to carry out the school mission.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Board.
Essential Job Functions:
Must be physically able to operate a variety of equipment including computers, copiers, etc.
Must be physically and legally able to operate a motor vehicle.
Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Requires the ability to read a variety of correspondence, reports, forms, articles, proposals, contracts, etc.
Requires the ability to prepare correspondence, reports, forms, evaluations, policies, etc. using prescribed formats.
Requires the ability to deal with people beyond giving and receiving instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Christian Studies
Must be an ordained OFWB Minister, OFWB Deacon, or OFWB Ministry Head
Must have at least 5 years of successful administrative experience
