Wall of Honor for Original Free Will Baptists

 A Gift that Lives . . .
The Wall of Honor for Original Free Will Baptists is a gift that lives. The Wall of Honor will remind us of our rich heritage and the joy of serving Christ through the Original Free Will Baptist Church.

The Wall of Honor is located at the Headquarters of our Denomination in Ayden, NC.

The Wall of Honor is an instrument that will recognize any Original Free Will Baptist for their contributions to a local church, a ministry, the community or the denomination. Any Pastor, Ministry Director, Ministry Employee, Denominational Leader, Church Leader and all Laity may be honored.

For a gift of $500, a plaque with the name of the honoree and the giver will be placed on the Wall of Honor. Also, a special presentation of recognition will be made to the person or couple being honored, or to their family.

A Gift that Grows . . .
The gifts received from the Wall of Honor will be used to perpetuate the ministry of the Convention of Original Free Will Baptists. One half of all gifts received will be placed in the “Wall of Honor Endowment” and the remainder will assist in the general operating expenses of the Convention. In doing so, this lasting tribute helps to assure the continuing ministry of the Convention of Original Free Will Baptists.

Leadership Endowment Banquets
The Leadership Endowment Committee has the responsibility of identifying those ministers who have shown strong leadership in their church, their conference and the convention.

Once those ministers have been identified, plans are made to have a recognition banquet at the church the honoree serves or a suitable location in the conference in which the minister is a member. At that event, the conference churches and other individuals would be invited to make contributions to the Convention’s Leadership Endowment in recognition of that minister’s accomplishments.

Heritage Month
The Office of Convention Services would like to invite you and your church to participate in the promotion of our denomination and our Convention by joining us in a celebration of our past, present and future. Annually the month of August is reserved as HERITAGE MONTH among Original Free Will Baptists. During this time we reflect upon the importance of continuing ministry as well as the history and heritage of the past.
